Sheri Garrett serves as the ministry director of Empower Ministries and an educational therapist for New Beginnings Tutorial.  She earned a Business degree from Mississippi State University with a minor in Psychology and is currently pursuing her masters degree in Educational Therapy.  She holds certifications from Equipping Minds, the National Institute of Learning Development, and Trust Based Relational Intervention trauma informed classrooms.  She and her husband of 28 years, James, and their four children are members of Evangel Church PCA.  Four years ago, after working in classical Christian education administration for many years, she joined Empower Ministries to serve children with learning struggles. Her passion is working with children to help restore their love for learning by strengthening and shepherding children with learning differences through “brain games” in a safe, structured, and fun environment while holding fast to the belief that we can have no idea how far a child can go with the right support.
3John4  I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.
